Life has returned to our school lotus pond with the onset of warmer weather. Today morning, I spotted some damselflies in mating mode. Here is one pair of them. This species goes by the name of Coromandel Marsh Dart.
Ceriagrion coromandelianum is a species of damselfly in the family Coenagrionidae. it is commonly known as coromandel marsh dart and yellow waxtail.
This species can be found in South Asian countries such as India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Nepal. It breeds in ponds, ditches, rice fields and mangrove forest.
