Hi Pankaj

Brilliant macro work with this great shot of the underwing of this beautiful common or lemon emigrant. The rich colours are quite a draw card, even on the thumbnail. Once I’ve opened the file the next thing to strike me was the amazing details you've captured. It looks like that lovely composite eye has actually got a pupil at the centre and it’s amazing how the colour line on the head actually follows through, throughout the eye.

The composition is excellent and the colouration of the border and titles compliments the photo. The DOF was perfect for the shot and the BG makes the butterfly stand out quite nice.

Hello Pankaj,
Fine capture in your Emigrant butterfly series with good detail and composition. The butterfly itself is sharp against a bokeh BG. The whole shot seems to have an interesting emrald green tone.

Your butterfly photo, as usual, is amazing. Common species but how well you have pictured it. I especially like your outstanding DOF. Separation of the main subject from impressive BG is extremely exact. Illumination and details of the butterfly and leaves at FG are fantastic too as well as the composition and cropping. Bravo. Perfect done.

Another great attachment to your expensive butterfly collection.
This too is a splendid shot!
I really like the extremly sharp details here and also all the very well visible textures.
The DOF is also impeccable and it blurres everything behind the b-fly wonderfully.
The natural colors are lovely and very well saturated and the exposure is spot-on.
Beautiful close-up and charming composition.
