This mantis jumped up on the on the table on night while I was watching tv. I got serveal shots from different angles but this is the one I like the most.

It's one of the most original shot of mantis I've ever seen. Very good idea, excellent POV, great job with dark background!

Really nice mantis image. And your title is quite apt, they are rather alien like. I always think that no matter how strange or creative a science fiction writer is, it can never compete with how fantastic and bizarre that natural world is. I like your framing, and the dark background. Unique and detailed. Good focal point.
