Visiting Batur volcano with my girlfriend, we got more than we bargained for, when once at the summit our local guide took us past a herd of large macaques crossing the misty cliffs and then to this beautiful emerald coloured lush cave with a dingy Hindu shrine inside, some of the walls we filled with cristals while in the crack at the entrance tropical swallows were nesting. Pretty gorgeous little place, it actually scored higher than the volcano itself with me.
Oh did I mention there were natural hot springs, sprouting from the cliff, heated likely by lava in the depths of the mountain?
Sorry for the quality, I used a basic camera, this is the best I got even with photoshopping it...

Hi Radu!

How are you my friend? Looks like you're travelling to fantastic places again :-) I like this shot - very tropical mood, lots of mist and fresh green ferns. Composition is also nice with visible sky via cave's entrance. Must be great place to visit, especially with girlfriend :-) As you wrote - quality isn't best but I like much more interesting picture with lower quality [like this one] then high quality, boring shot :-)

Hi Radu
It is good to see you back on TN I agree with Grzesiek interesting place

Best wishes and GOOD BY
It is my last comment

Very interesting place, Radu. very nice presentation. I'd like to visit there. maybe I can find my bats in there. TFS, have a nice weekend

Hi Radu
This cave is dreamlike . Never mind the "Quality morons" you show on TN what you saw, and we envy you this experience
I add this beauty to my theme "high Altitude".

Thanks for sharing.
Warm Greetings from the Tzaneen Dam in Limpopo, South Africa
