Beware, this tiger is coming after you!

He kept moving around at time I tried to capture him. He seemed not happy when his picture was taken. I did not like to see his eyes, looking straight to my eyes. He may think [does animal think?] that "Hey Ben, it would be nice to have you for my lunch..."

This picture was taken at around noon. Sun was extremely bright [I am talking about tropical sun here!]. Facing some difficulties in managing light, but I had managed to reduce brightness at PP, but I feel the picture is still not perfect....

Hi Ben,
It was a brave feat to get any capture of this ferocious beast at all, whether it is perfect or not.The tiger was moving, and you might have been shaking too?
It looks as though the light conditions were tricky. There's a slight blue/red colour cast I think on the dark patches wich you could probably eliminate in PP.
Its a cool photo though.
Do you know what type of tiger this is ?

Hi Ben!
Impressive picture! Quality isn't important here. You're brave man [or maybe I should say - crazy ;-)]. Taking pictures of wild tiger isn't very good idea :-) I prefer much safer subjects like butterflies :-) Anyway - great post and big cat looks superb!

Hi Ben,

I wouldn't expect to make perfect picture when a tiger is walking around me! I'm not sure I could hold the camera in my hands in such conditions.
Yeah, is not pinpoint sharp (the colours and brightness are OK in my oppinion) but offers to the watcher a sense of dynamics, that tiger is moving and it's doing it fast!

Regards, Petru

Hello Ben,
The quality is not the best but a close-up of a wild tiger? Superb, worth more than one smiley. Great shot.

Bonjour Benyamin
C'est une excellente Prise de vue! Grande composition et belles couleurs, bon contraste entre les couleurs du tigres. Merci pour le partage .
bravo et au revoir...JP

Hi Benyamin.
This looks like a frightening situation. What a beautiful subject. His eyes are really intense and they are looking right at the camera. Good pp work- the lighting and coloring are good. Also, the out of focus really exposes his movement and adds to the mood of the photo.
Take care.

Hi Ben,
Terrible eyes! As though it goes to find some food. But you must be very brave to take this capture.

In my opinion, here is not important the quality. Really, this one is a very impressiv capture. Thanks for sharing.

Magnificent creature, well taken

Good job.Great Colours and compo.

Hello Benyamin, excllent colors, Bg, POv DOF perefct POV and framing, TFS Kyle

Hi Ben, Superb head-on view of this colourful and strong beast. Good note along with it. PS was he behind bars? Guess so as you lived to tell the story!. Murray.

Hi Ben

This photo is just stunning.
You have caught the tiger spirit, power and beauty all in one shot.
The P.O.V. is fantastic and the photo is clear and sharp enough for me.
I would not be so self critical.
You have done a great job here.
Let those who have never been in your position, when you took this shot, criticise.
It's not fear that makes our cameras shake when we are in the company of wild tigers, it is the feeling of overwhelming privilege and emotion.
Well done.
Thanks for sharing.

Heh, this is awesome. Are there many tigers in your area that roam around? Are they used to having people around, or are there cases of them eating people for lunch? Maybe it already had lunch, and you were being thought of as dinner? Glad that didn't happen.

Looks like the tiger from a clip they play at the movies, by some certain company, I forgot its name....

Hi Benyamin,
Nice shot, good colours. TFS

Hi Ben,
Nice shot, good colors.

Well done

hi ben..havent noticed this one before..and i envy you that head on shot...the only tiger i got close to in ranthambore was head on and i couldnt hold the camera steady..when she passed by the side i got a profile..and it was a print and not well developed..
i did some pp to get the eyes using local sharpening to keep the rest in a state of softness..
hope you like
god bless
