A daredevil long tail macaque (Macaca fascicularis) posing on the edge of a cliff at the Pura Uluwatu temple.
Talk about living on the edge, thats all these monkeys do!

Foarte interesanta poza, Radu.

Horia

You have made interesting post again, it's absolutely Radu's style! These fellows chose very interesting place to talk! i like the wb presantation a lot. Great sharpness, pov and framing here! Extraordinary post! i'm curious about the place, that's not a usual place for them.
Bravo and TFS!

Good shot Radu! On balance I think I prefer the colour version though. Focus is spot on, and the aperture choice has given you some nice background seperation too. I think if I'd been framing this, I'd have had the macaque on the left looking towards the coast though, if at all possible... Very well captured though - I'm just glad he didn't steal your passport ;D

Hello mf,
nice shot with this guy on the edge!
I prefer the posted version in B/W.

Andrea

Great B&W image. Good slightly OOF BG. Great composition. Very nice...

I sure hope this macaque has as good a sense of balance as he seems to think. That picture gives me vertigo just looking at it.
Although I would consider myself one of the color-lovers you mentioned, I like your black and white version. The light is beautiful on his fur and the details are very sharp. Great vertiginous POV. TFS. : )

Hi Radu,
being a color lover myself I do agree with you this image is even more fascinating in b/w.
"Living on the edge" - that is the story!
Thank you, and best regards,
Peter
