I like the POV, very nice. The colours and composition are excellent too. This looks like our sympetrum species, I know you posted this species before..did you get anywhere with the ID?

Very good POV, describing the enviroment very much. I think you could have cropped only a bit tighter at the bottom to get a bigger image, but it is very nice.

Hi David, intresting image, it certainly looks like a female sympetrum of some sort. Is it a sandy beach we see in the back ground.
I still use auto focus but I find that using single point for the lightmeter seems to help the camera decide to focus where you want it to.

David, great shot. When I looked at the insect in a glance I had the feeling he looked like a helicopter.
Great composition and sharpness.
As for the autofocus you mentioned in your note, I also face the same problem.

Nice pic. I really like the Dragon Fly shaddow on the rock.
Cropping a bit more of the bottom might work.
