Another dragonfly on the rock - or maybe the same one. Very common around this area. Today I took photos of red dragonflies ... but autofocus just focusses on the wrong thing background) :-(

I like the POV, very nice. The colours and composition are excellent too. This looks like our sympetrum species, I know you posted this species before..did you get anywhere with the ID?

Very good POV, describing the enviroment very much. I think you could have cropped only a bit tighter at the bottom to get a bigger image, but it is very nice.

Very nice one David,
I really like the pov in this one, very good composition, great capture, well done.

Nice POV and pose of the critter. Nicely done. TFS.

Hi David, intresting image, it certainly looks like a female sympetrum of some sort. Is it a sandy beach we see in the back ground.
I still use auto focus but I find that using single point for the lightmeter seems to help the camera decide to focus where you want it to.

David, great shot. When I looked at the insect in a glance I had the feeling he looked like a helicopter.

Great composition and sharpness.

As for the autofocus you mentioned in your note, I also face the same problem.

Best regards.

Nice pic. I really like the Dragon Fly shaddow on the rock.

Cropping a bit more of the bottom might work.
