[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This photograph is taken near the summit of the mountain in Mt. Chausudake(1,915m) in Nasu of Tochigi Prefecture. It is a stratovolcano which consists of a lava flow here. A mountain object belongs to Nikko National Park. It is one of the Japanese one hundred famous mountains. When the trekking of near the summit of the mountain, many large and small lava stones were scattered here and there. This mountain took charge of a function like the mountain-climbing base for mountain worship. Nasu Plateau and Nikko mountain range can be seen under their view. And, flowing clouds which float in the blue sky of early summer were very impressive on that day.

Hello Mr.Mikio,
No doubt a beautiful place.Well captured this panoramic mountain landscape. Here Panoramic verdant mountain landscape is really soothing for eyes.Fogy atmosphere with nice framing made it attractive.

Regards and have a nice time,

Dear Mikio,
THe Interesting story of this mountain adds to the fascination of this photo. In this case it works well to focus on the foreground and using not a big depth of field...
I added your photo to my theme "High altitude"
I love your country but have spent most of my time visiting temples etc rather in the country side,
Thanks for sharing.
Warm greetings from the Tzaneen Dam in Limpopo, South Africa
Ingrid
