Shooting bees and butterflies can be difficult because they rarely stay at the same spot while collecting nector and pollens---they make quick moves. But this one DID stay long enough for me to take some pics.

Hello Coyote, this is no bee! This is a hoverfly probably of the genus Volucella. They are bee mimics and you are the latest in a long line that have been fooled - the disguise is good! Nice shot although it could do with a little more light on the fly. Good colours and detail, well done.
