A picture from a day of trekking in Kamikochi, in the Japan Alps. Still snow in the valley, clouds rolling in over the mountains and just that incredible scenery. Kamikochi is located in the Hida Mountain Range. This stunning alpine region, preserved in its natural state, is home to Mt. Hotadake and Mt. Yakedake, the latter of which is an active volcano, as well as several lakes.

Hello, interesting use of the diagonal in your photo. It has a misty and etheral look to it. Good notes and I learned about the volcano in that area.
