Great colours and catch Lighting in the subject's eye. TFS,
What a beautiful photo you start with. The subject and the pose are great and it has nice quality, more taking into account you shot it at night.
I dared a fast workshop. Lights and sharpness are sometimes question of taste, or even monitor setting, so hope you like!
My best welcome to TN, hope you enjoy here.

I like the warm colours and the nice blurred bg.

Welcome to TN. A lovely bird well seen. Good POV and composition. Well done and thanks for sharing.
This is an excellent first post!! welcome to TN.
I like the picture the first time isaw it in a tumbnail. The colors and the exposure is great , but composition wise i would have given more space towards where the KF is looking rather than towards its back :-) ( Just my taste)
Great capture and once again welcome to TN

A warm welcome to TN. This is a good shot to open your account with.
The details are nice and clear. The image would be better if the focus was sharper on the eye.
Good colours, lighting and exposure. DOF is spot on and the POV is good.
Thanks for posting, have a great week
Enjoy TN, it's a great site.

Welcome to TN.
Not 100% sure, but probably a Blue-eared Kingfisher (alcedo meninting), reasonably common in that part of the world.
As you can see from Felipe's workshop, a little bit of post-processing can bring out the details you actually captured but is lost in jpeg compression.
Hope to see more of your work here.
