Two Macaques at the Bako National park in Sarawak, Malaysia.
The tropical forest is fast disappearing on Borneo island and this park is one of the last refuge for some of the animal species.
Macaques are not endangered as they adapted quite well to the human invasion, but other monkeys like the Proboscis monkey have seen their population diminish dramatically and would disappear if it was not of places like Bako. |
