[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The travelers palm tree is not really in the palm tree family but was given this name because the leaves will catch rain water and allow travelers to drink water in dry regions.

I am not sure if this is true but they seem to grow facing south (behind me)and the spread of the fan going from east to west.

Shot with a Mamiya 7 and 43mm lens with Velvia 100 film.

I can hardly imagine this picture being left without any comment as it is such a fantastic palm tree you are showing. It looks almost like the feathers of a peacock, in a giant size! The colours are amazing, and you really show the tree so we can appreciate its beauty. Thank you!
