Hello Foozi,
You are convincing me here that modern zoom lenses take no back seat to prime lenses - or does anyone disagree. I will gladly listen to comments on the matter. This is a really beautiful image and it seems you achieved it without the use of a tripod. A small matter - I would have cloned out the twig in the right hand part of the image as I think it is a little distracting. But a beautiful image as is. Well done.

I have never seen this particular bird before, but it is very beautiful indeed. I see it is similar to our crows, although it's colors are much prettier. You have done a fine job photographing it for us as it is presented in exceptional detail. You have me interested in it now that you posted it's portrait, so I am going to check it out on the web to see what it's full features look like. Great work!!
