Rufous-Backed Kingfisher
(Ceyx rufidorsa)
Size: 14 cm
Description:
Distinguished from Black-Backed Kingfisher by its paler wings; also note lack of black spot behind ear. Sometimes it included in Black-Backed Kingfisher as hybridization does occurs.
Voice:
Whistling chi-chip call.
Habits:
Strictly a forest bird, only occurring within primary and mature secondary rainforest in the lowlands. Shy; perches low. It’s usually seen flying low across the forest trail, like a tiny orange projectile, often near a small stream. The nest is built in a cavity in low earth embarkments. |

Hi
Nice job... The colors are excellent...
Good POV...
But the focus is a little soft overall...
Using a smaller aperture would have helped a lot...
Its Just an opinion of a crazy amateur ... ;-)
Hope to see more uploads from you...
TFS
Regards
Vipin Baliga :-)
