Hello Zoe,
This macro shows most of the features of this red ant with good clarity, but I have some suggestions that might help you:
1.Composition: try to have more space in the direction that your subject is facing.
2.If you are showing the whole ant then try to include all its features and avoid chopping off antennae or legs.
3.Try to avoid a noisy BG. Noise is usually produced by sharpnening after heavy cropping, but you can reduce it with the right editing program.
But this is a good start!
