I debated for awhile on whether I should crop this image but after some thought I decided to leave it as is. Typically I dont place the subject in the middle of the frame like this but maybe it works this time?

P.S. The picture, except for the flower, is rather dark and the butterfly does not contrast against the background. I tried a workshop. Perhaps you like the result?!

Beautifull danaid butterfly. Very good sharpness but the buckground is to dark.

HI Mike,
I like this composition of this picture. In this case, i think the middle composition did it good. I looked at Peter's WS, i like how he enhanced the butterfly but i'm not too sure about the crop. i also disagree with Krzysztof about the background being too dark. I think i like the constrast.
