[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Melastoma is a genus in the family Melastomataceae. It has about 50 species distributed around Southeast Asia, India, and Australia. It is undergoing taxonomic revision. Many species have been planted around the world for the aesthetic value of their bright purple flowers. Several have the capacity to become weedy, and have become noxious weeds in Hawaii and other areas.

These Carpenter Bees are very frisky and hardly ever settle down anywhere, Foozi, so you have to take a chance with them and hope for the best.
This is a fairly successful capture of the Bee but not all that sharp. The flower, of course, looks beautiful.

The bee adds value to the image of this beautiful purple flower rendered here in great quality. Well done. It is a pleasure to view.

Hello Foozi,
Nice photo of this flower with bee. The bee isn't very sharp, but the flower does. Beautiful natural colours.

Hello Foozi,
I missed this fine capture!
Most of the features of both the Melastomas flower and Carpenter bee are shown with good clarity and natural colours in a composition that suits the POV.
Thanks and best regards,
