Collared KingFisher

[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This photograph of the Collared Kingfisher was taken in harsh afternoon sun. Collared Kingfishers are rather common and found predominantly around coastal areas and waterways. This one was again approached in a car with the lens resting on a bean bag.

A nice 'from back' photo. Needs crop a bit -to get rid of off-focus areas.

Hallo Phil
You really have a gallery filled with the most beautiful kingfishers. Some of them I have not seen at all or even knew they existed. The deep blue colour of this Collared kingfisher is really awesome. That big opened beak is an eye-catcher and adds a special touch to this special photo. My compliments to this wonderful presentation of colour. Great capture, great pose and great composition. Fantastic light and sharpness. A spectacular view which I enjoyed looking at very much. Thanks for sharing. Kind regards
Anna
