This female Banded Kingfisher was taken the same time as the male from yesterday's post. More often then not I have observed these to move in pairs and seeing one would mean the partner is nearby.

Hi Phil,

What a great Kingfisher showing her butt.
Sharp with crystal clear blue eye.
I have never seen this king, here at Raub, must go to that Bukit Tinggi one day.
Oh.. I need to get that 600mm! :-)
