|Tiger Shrike (Juvenile) - Lanius Tigrinus|
This Juvenile was seen fattening up before the long haul back up north at the end of winter.
They are found in highlands and well as lowlands in Peninsular Malaysia for winter quarters. This one appears oblivious of human activity to allow me close access to it.

Wow, this is fantastic! Perfect sharp details in splendid clear colours. Great contrasting OOF BG. Very beautiful pose, composition and POV. High quality!
This is a beautiful image. Everything is just right in this photo and I cannot find fault with the technical side of the photography. I have left many smileys and chose many favourites in the time that I have been part of Trek Nature because your images are op top quality, but unfortunately I will no longer take part and I am sure many other members feel the same. It is really a pity that you do not participate more by ways of comments or critiques on fellow members photos as I see the last time you have done so was in July 2007. I personally feel that if you have time to do a posting, you surely should have time to comment or critique on one or two fellow members postings. You have lots and lots of lovely birds in your portfolio and I am sure many members would love to visit but hesitate, due to the fact that you do not participate in the same way as they support you.
