a nice capture of this colourful dragonfly.
Good sharpness with fine details but it's to much flash for my liking. The contrast is a bit to high and the BG a bit to dark.
Have a nice weekend.

wonderful image of this dragonfly. Super POV to see the excellent focused wings and body. Fine color patterns, comp. and BG also. Well done! Best regards Siggi
This is really a great perspective on this dragonfly! The color is so vibrant in this photo. It would be nice if the upper wing were in sharper focus. But you've got the whole dragonfly in the frame, and the composition is very nice. Well done, friend!
(PS - I posted a workshop to lighten shadows a bit. Hope you don't mind.)

I must certainly ask what is the green which is so nicely saturated. I know a Nikon shot when I see oneand this one REALLY sticks out well. I wish I had hung on with mine! Very nice!

What can I say? I have touched and used this lens. Honestly speaking I have not used a dedicated macro lens like this one and the sharpness and result is simply completely different from what I have done. Although I used my 17-50mm macro lens with some cropping when shooting small objects, the result is not as sharp and impressive as the macro lens.
I think the color of the dragonfly's body blends very well in contrast with the green and blue. So the choice of POV and angle tells a lot about the photographer's work here to make it work better.
The sharpness element is taken good care of.
p/s I have tested Tokina 28-70mm - this sometimes gave me no response on the focus and metering in veiwfinder. I wonder if the problem is on the camera or the user? [shall I ask this] Or the lens?

I love this shot - the colours are marvelous and the angle looking up to those impressive eyes and wings is excellent.
Very well done, thanks
