Crown Headed Cranes courting while we visited the bird sanctuary on Labuan Island.

we left our boat at the Waterfront marina and used our folding bicycles around the island.
Labuan is a small duty free island that belongs to Malaysia, in the province of Sabah, part of Borneo.

Most of the bird sanctuary was of no interest, with birds in cages, so useless to photography, but there was a large enclosure you can enter amongst various species of birds.

The main attraction to yacht like ours is to replenish the wine, beer and alcohol supply...

This is also why Muslim people from the neighboring country, Brunei Darussalam come here for, since no alcohol is sold there.
