Ardeola bacchus is very beautiful heron and similar to Ardeola ralloides here, with some different colored plumage. you greatly captured it roosting. focus, colors, exposure and POV great. nicely composed and presented with good informative notes. thanks a lot for sharing, best wishes and salams

Hi Foozi,

This is the first time I have seen this Heron. A beautiful bird in a wonderful pose. The colors are amazing - the wonderful yellow eye, the chestnut brown feathers with the white are stunning. Fine details of the face, eye, and feathers. It was so nice to be introduced to this Chinese Pond Heron.

Cool shot of this pond heron; I have only managed to get them in non-breeding plumage. They are quite attractive in breeding plumage. Good pose and composition, good sharpness.
