Hello Foozi
Nice capture of this wader. For me looks like a Wood Sandpiper (Tringa glareola). I don't know if this specie is present in that area, but I'm sure it is not Redshank.
May be is somebody who can help us.

hello Foozi
excellent photo of the Wood Sandpiper with fine POV
fine focus excellent sharpness and details, i love the
way it is framed with the water plants, just one thing Foozi
(and it is more easy to write it now than to thinked at that moment)
maybe i would zoom less, the bird would be from far a little bit
but doing that i could have all the reflection on the water,
TFS

Hi MF Foozi,
An expertly taken capture of this sandpiper. Very effective use of the light and shadows. The sandpiper looks well placed too. Great spotting, but more importantly, great shooting.
TFS and have a nice night MF!

Hi Foozi,
A lovely Sandpiper peeking through the reeds. His face, eye, beak and plumage are so clear and sharp. Nice colors and details of the entire bird. I love the reflections in the water, the marvelous setting and the fine composition.

Hi Foozi
it is a beautiful bird , and a nice photo , I like the natural environment , nice light , and a fair detail , the composition is ok , but in my opinion the reflection is not working here , perhaps a crop to exclude more of it? , or capturing all of it , but half is a bit of distraction , reason I notice that is because I recently did the same :-( got a nice photo but chopped the birds reflection , and was kind of sad that I had not thought of it when I took the picture...
TFS & regards

Hello Foozi,
A lovely and elegant bird shown in a very natural environment. These fine curved grasses are of great beauty, the fine Wood Sandpiper is standing just at the right place in between the aquatic vegetation. Very well seen and done
kind regards

Hi Foozi,
The reflections on the water are assets to the composition. The point of view is allowing me to see the details and colors of the Wood Sandpiper. The vegetation is framing well the bird. The luminosity has a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Foozi,
Very good POV and a really good light balance. I think that 1/200s is difficult to handle, and the result is good. A separate round of applause for the colors are really attractive! TFS, Jesús

Hello foozi,
Almost missed this beautiful photo of, indeed, the Wood Sandpiper. It's present in the almost the whole of the Old World. Great sharp focus. Beautiful natural colours, also in the environment of the bird. Good POV and eye-contact.
Have a good weekend,

Hi Foozi,
Very nice capture of that sandpiper! You caught him in a terrific location! It's hard to get a more natural looking environment than that. Great colours and details. I love the bright green grass all around the bird. I read your informative notes. You said that Razvan had identified the bird as a Wood Sandpiper. He's probably correct. As you've pointed out, the species looks similar to the Solitary Sandpiper, found in North and South America and the Caribbean. I enjoyed reading about your photo technique too. TFS.
Regards,
John
