Himalayan Striped Squirrel (Tamiops macclellandi)

I have never been to Nepal or Himalayas, but one squirrel somehow escaped to Malaysia. ;)
Photographed this cute small squirrel at Fraser's Hill, near Jelai Resort.

The thickness and length of the alternating cream and dark brown dorsal stripes is the key identifying feature, and is diagnostic.

what a lovely squirrel you got here. Very nicely composed collage to show the feature. i like its agile eyes and superb smooth fur.
Very small indeed and you showed the details very well.
