Hello friends in TN.

I am used to seeing the specimen at the bottom but the one sitting at the top is rather strange to me.

Thanks for viewing!

Thanks Laszlo for the ID Ganoderma lucidum

Interesante por la rareza de la especie y los colores.
También mejorable en el encuadre según mi modesta opinión.
Un abrazo Jusni: Josep Ignasi.

Hi Jusni
Interesting photo from a fungus covered by the escaping holes of an insect species (beetle?).

Hello Jusni,
A fine capture of two of the same species of bracket fungus. The upper one is older and has been eaten by the larvae of some species of insect, most likely a fly or beetle. The holes are the exit holes of the emerged adult insect.
Excellent POV, sharpness, colours and composition.
Thanks and kind regards,

Hi Jusni,
Ganoderma lucidum, or something else very closed from the genera (can't be fully identified without microscope). Beautiful pic with the living and the dead fruit-bodies, excellent sharpness in the focal area, and except for the slight overexposion on the right part great colors also. The small holes on the dead fruit-body (it's an annual species) makes the photo even more interesting. Nice shot. Congrats and tfs.
Friendly regards, László

Salam Jusni,
lovely view of these strange fungi. Very exciting to see many holes on the top one.
The lines of texture is lovely and the texture of the tree bark is pretty too.
A nice view.
