Fire-Tufted Barbet (Psilopogon pyrolophus)

Lower angle shot compare to my old shot in November 2009

Fire Tufted Barbet (Psilopogon pyrolophus) is a common bird at Fraser's Hill, very responsive to call.
Getting a decent and low angle shot is another challenge, unless you are willing to wait patiently at Shahzan Hotel birds feeder.

Wow, Redzlan, what an interesting-looking bird!
Beautiful colors, well exposed
(and yes, much improved from the old shot : )
Nice and sharp in a good pose!
TFS. : )

what a colour and sharpness, no complain. it is simply extraordinary.

Hi Redzlan,
a really beautiful and very special bird and a good shot you show us here.

Very beautiful bird portrait!

Bonjour Redzlan,
Agréable valorisation du sujet dans une belle attitude et sous un bon angle de prise de vue.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.

Hi Redzian.

Nice bird, different green tone and a good blurred background. The reddish feathers on top of the beak contrast with the back colours around it.

Bela ave, com diferentes tons de verde nas plumas. Um bom desfoque no fundo. As plumas veremelhas no topo do bico contrastam bem com a coloração negra ao redor.
