This Painted Jezebel butterflies are great beauties, I would be very happy to have thnm flying around in our areas. Good lateral view on the magnificent wings. Well chosen framing too.

Beautiful butterfly and well taken. But it is not the Painted Jezebel. That one is also found in India and has Red spots at wing tips which are missing here.Rather this one looks like a Red Base Jezebel (Delias pasithoe parthenope) also found in India.
