Hi everybody,
here is the perfect snack for the nice frog, Manyee is showing us today.
I found this monster-hopper, about 10 - 12 cm long in Burma in the most famous temple - Mahamuni temple - in Mandalay. It was sitting on this red ceramic tile inside this beautiful place.
All Burmese people were very amused to look at me, making photos of this insect with my big flash and when I finished, I looked into many smiling and curious faces. The all liked to have a look at my small display of the camera, that was so fascinating for them.

I hope you like my Hoppy.

Great catch of this grasshopper. I like the reflection on red collour.
Nice details, interesting "thorns" on legs.

Well done!

Out of time and :) I will come back...

Hi Sabine,
welcome back from your trip, it's seems like you had a great time.
The details are good but it look like its a bit soft behind and in front of the hopper. Lovely colours, well composed and good POV.
Great work, my friend.

Hello Sabine,
Very interesting shot! The red surface looks very striking and created nice BG for this yellow-brown coloured grashooper. The reflection is great too!

hi sabine
la netteté est tres bonne,le plan rouge laisse refleter l'insecte.bons details egalement.

Very nice shot of this grasshopper ! Very unusual BG, not very natural, but it creates a beautiful reflection, I like it. Excellent sharpnessand details too, good colors, good POV and composition. Very well done !

10 - 12 cm long? That is LONG Manyee! Good catch, it is a little soft, but I still can see it clearly. It shows up well against the red. Well done,
