Hi again,
I'm glad to be back again from my wonderful trip to Myanmar/Burma and Thailand.
I have to tell you - I have seen so wonderful Nature, special at the Inle-Lake.
There you can find millions of dragonflies, I was so enthusiastic to see all these beauties, special the monster-big-dragons, wow, I never saw so many and so large dragon-flies.
And what shall I say, I don't made a shot of a single one of them - why - they only flew, never sitting down, so hectic and so beautiful.
But I enjoyed looking to their wonderful flights sitting in my small boat under the warm sun.

Here is one little dragon I found in Yangon, only about 4 cm long but with nice eyes.

Today - 18.01.2009 - I found the ID in the net:
It's a Pintail (Acisoma panorpoides), also known as Grizzled Pintail by some authors, is quite widespread from the Mediterranean region into Asia, the Indian Ocean area, Madagascar and parts of Africa. It is a tiny dragonfly which is easy to overlook.

Thanks for looking.

ja schon mit den einheimischen probleme. *g*

.. Kismet!... Dein Foto ist wieder einmal technisch super. Sehr gute Schärfe und wunderbare Farben. Danke für dieses Foto.

Hello Sabine,
Lovely shot! The dragofly looks very nice and you've captured it with a very good quality. I like the POV and quite like the framing. Picture seems to be a little busy, but I don't really know why, maybe because of the BG.
Anyway, it's a very good shot!

Very beautiful image, Sabine.
Hope you enjoyed your trip.
