I took this shot, like the leopard, from elephant back, but this time in Royal Bhardia. This Park is more forested than Chitwan and has fewer Great Indian Rhino. Most have been translocated from Chitwan, but as the picture shows they are breeding successfully.

This is the most common of the three Asian rhino species. The Sumatran Rhino is confined to a few places in Sumatra, Borneo and Vietnam, whilst the Lesser Indian Rhino or Javan Rhino is confined to the the extreme west of Java and a few survivors in Vietnam.

I like the way you captured the reflection here. Well done!

What a great capture of these two and their reflections. The only thing I would like to see is a little more room at the top of the image.... just back your elephant up a little bit! ha ha ha ha ha LOL : )

Thanks for sharing a super photo.

Hi James,
a nice picture, low POV and composition are good.
Maybe a bit soft and little tight crop above.
The reflections and colours are really nice.
Well done.

Hi James,

A crystal clear reflection sets this shot of with a bang. Interesting to see the babe leading the way. Clarity is good here and detail evident.
I think some of the rocks in the foreground are blown. Also, some room to the left and on top whilst reducing it behind mothers rear would I think compose this a bit better IMHO.

Thanks for this one

fantastic and unusual pic in TN, TFS Ori

Hello James,
Another superb one. I like the pov and the reflection. Composition is maybe a bit too tight but that's a minor quibble. Well done. Keep posting!

Hello James

A beautiful shot with lovely reflections. The details and textures are very good in the rhino's skin.Very natural looking colours.Nicely composed .TFS

Hi james,

A very lovely capture , a bit more space in the front would have been great , but u have compensated that by capturing the reflection of the family. Love this pic.

Tfs and happy weekend,
