[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Indian rhinoceros (Rhinoceros unicornis), also called the greater one-horned rhinoceros and Indian one-horned rhinoceros, belongs to the Rhinocerotidae family. Listed as a vulnerable species, the large mammal is primarily found in north-eastern India's Assam and in protected areas in the Terai of Nepal, where populations are confined to the riverine grasslands in the foothills of the Himalayas.

Hi Joy,
I like your POV and even with the shadows it is a good picture. We have an Indian Rino in our zoo. That is the only way that I can see one. She just had her baby, which I took a picture. Maybe I will post it.

Hello Joydeb,
Very nice image. Fantastic clarity and outstanding details. What an amazing image and interesting too......The composition, the light and exposure are very good. Fantastic razor sharp details. Fascinating contrast against the grass in the background.
Thanks for sharing!
Marius.

A fine presentation of a Rhino from Chitwan National Park in Nepal, Joydeb.
Plausible idea to portray the huge beast in portrait form to showcase its facial features including that single horn on the forehead.
