[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the valley of Lobuche Khola that rushes down from Lobuche peak alongside Khumbu glacier (map). The peaks here are Taboche (left) and Cholatse - same as on the previous shot, but from the other side of the ridge.

The valley is a part of Everest trek - the most popular one in Nepal and probably on Earth. Below me (in the lower left corner) is the village of Pheriche, above the lake is Cho La pass - the way into Gokyo valley. Everest is to the right (north).

Trekking to Taboche base camp and climbing its slopes is a good pass time during acclimatisation day many take after reaching Pheriche or Dingboche. Another good one is Chukung Ri and Lhotse wall along Imja Khola to the North East.

Great shot, I love it. The perspective is super and I like the composition. Very well done Mikhail.

A very nice landscape shot. Great composition and detail I love the clouds around the peaks. Very Nice!

Very good Mikhail,
It's very powerful mountains.
Very good composition, perspective and details.
Very well done.

What a splendid wilderness, Mikhail : rock colossus with jagged ,,aiguille,, peaks almost like towers and all effects of glaciation visible: white glaciers, morraines in shades of gray, lakes of thick turcoise all in a splendid geological chromatic contrast with the alpine tundra. Bravo !

I am realy enjoying these Himalain veiws, they a very good the details are superb, this one is no different from the others in this respect, the veiw and details are very clear and the POV is a good one with room for the eye to travel up and out of the image. TFS

HI Mikhail,
You have fantastic mountain shots.
I would think this one is in the south American Andes. Mountains are fantastic and very dramatic and great presentation of the surroundings.
