[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is male Oleander Hawk-moth(Daphnis nerii) quite well-known to many here. I got its name/ID from TN and I stand obliged. Unusually when I spotted this moth the last time, it was sitting on this palm leaf in broad daylight, perhaps basking and at ease and I was able to take a few shots with my Eastman Kodak camera. Probably due to partial camouflage, it was not that apprehensive. On previous occasion when the light was not good, I found it extremely difficult to bring it into focus. I hope it is an acceptable shot and friends will like it, thanks.

Wonderful moth!
Amazing colors and details.

Hola Syed,
primero un saludo desde España y después muchas gracias por tus amables comentarios.
Tu toma impresionante, al menos para los que nunca hemos visto esa especie, que querríamos tener en nuestros archivos.
Un abrazo y hasta pronto:
Josep Ignasi.

Ya Hussain,
Your knowledge about the nature and insects are much better then me, nor we have this much insects here as the night termprature drops to minus so hardly any can survive, it is well shot and bright and crispy exposure.
