Hi there everyone! Remember the green train I've posted previously? Here it is now on it's final phase the Polytes Chrysalis on it's 3rd day.

It really is magical and exciting feeling taking care of this wonderful creature, seeing them voraciously eating away the leaves of the baby lime tree then actually seeing them change into a chrysalis... in all my years this is the first time for me.

On my next post that will the "Emerging"

For this one i've used a better point and shot camera the sony dsc-wx80.

no editing done on this one just cropped and compressed.

See you all next time, have a good day!

Hello Arman,
Amazing how much this chrysalis looks exactly like a folded over leaf. I would never have recognized it if I came upon it in the wild. Outstanding camouflaged ability!!
Wonderful shot showing the Polytes Chrysalis on it's 3rd day in excellent detail and natural color. Cant wait to see the butterfly when it emerges. I used to raise Monarch Butterflies in this manner, then released them.
