[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken during my visit to Jordan, Guimaras. I stayed at my grandmother's house in a small village called Sanao. I decided to take a hike towards a local pilgrimmage spot, Bala-an Bukid or Holy Mountain, and I saw this small butterfly flying around this beautiful flower that seemed to be blooming everywhere.

I'm not very good at specific names of plants and animals, so I would really appreciate if you would share your knowledge. =)

Hallo,
I'll try to help in identification:
The butterfly is a species of the family Pieridae:
HEBOMOIA GLAUCIPPE
The flowering plant is probably:
CAESALPINIA PULCHERRIMA (Family Caesalpiniaceae).
It's a nice picture of the flower. The butterfly is very busy and you cannot obtain a sharp picture due to wing movement. H. glaucippe is rarely seen resting for a long time. It is restless ... so you can be happy to have got this 'capture'.
