[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This sea gull flew alongside my ship and came by close enough for me to get some really good close ups. This was taken in the glow of a setting sun.

In the ice pack off Sakhalin at this time of the year the gulls also get a chance of some clear water to catch their fish as the ice breaker class vessels moves through the ice.
