Crioceris quatuordecimpunctata (Chrysomelidae, Criocerinae).
Size 6 mm. On a foodplant, Asparagus officinalis. There was also a lot of larvae, but i didn't manage to take any decent shots.

a very nice work, not easy to made whit this little insect, have a nice day,Luciano

Hi Dmitry,
I ovelooked this picture so far, but now I ant to tell you that you did a fine job: the beetle is quite small and glossy, yet you came up with a perfectly focussed head- on portrait . Good use of the flash. The reflections could be easily removed with the Patch tool, but I don't think this is necessary. Well done, Dmitry.
Best regards

great macro of this small dude, love the colors, reminds me of my shot on the tortoise beetle, till next time, bye!bye!
