|Orange-Spotted Bulbul |
Size: 20 cm
Look for brown spotted chest contrasting with pale belly, and diagnostic yellow-orange lores.
A loud tuk-tuk-turuk.
A strictly montane bulbul found in forest edges, clearings, cultivated areas and scrub at altitude from 800 – 3000m. Numberous at higher montane elevation, especially in stunted alpine growth, where it can be seen moving about in small vocal parties.
Very rare escapee in Singapore.

Excellent bokeh, POV, and natural details. Could there be a "tick" on the middle of breast? Also, there is a leg band ... right? The band could have been eliminated with a clone stamp function. TFS.
this one is new to me! i am definitely going to visit Thiland someday... that land is a bird-watchers' paradise :)
i know i know you took this birdie in Singapore... but, Thiland is my dream-place :)
and this bird is very beautiful. not so gorgeous, but still very beautiful... loved it.

Hello Ang Hwee,
The best photo of this species I've ever seen.
