It seems like having a big weight over him.
Very good the clear and sharpness of the image.
We can enjoy the all the beauty of the subtle pink tones of heir beak.
I think you managed so good the exposure to handle the lack of good light.

nice pose by the bird but the photo is too dark. may need a little sharpening too. but still nice to look at

Hello Stephanie,
Very cute pose :) Although it looks a bit underexposed I still liked the exposure and the Pelican contrasting it. It looks sharp enough so I have no idea trinko suggested to sharpen it some more. I really liked the composition and the oval shape of the pelican. Well done.

A very nice shot on this Australian Pelican. These guys are unique, and I love those big PINK beaks. Beautiful subtle colors and sharp detail. Low light, but you brought out the colorsd and detail very well.

What a superb photo and what an outstadning pose this lovely australian pelican gave you here :)
The place where you found it is also terrific and it gave you just enough cearance for a nicely blurred BG.
Very good exposure (despite the missing sunlight), terrific and sharp details and charming composition.
