|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|I fixed the original post I had. I think my monitor wasnt calibrated because the colours/brightness were way off in the original. Hopefully this one is much better now.|
Taken at the Singapore Zoological Gardens.
-The name cheetah comes from an Indian word meaning "spotted one."
-Top speed of 70mph
-The young cub has a long gray-blue coat and a black underbelly that rapidly lightens and becomes spotted.
-Early peoples trained cheetahs for hunting, and many civilizations depicted them in their art and in written records.
-Cheetahs were so popular that Akbar the Great of India was said to have kept a stable of about 1,000.

Almost like a statue.
You should take care about the background though.
There's a tree coming out of his head.
Pity my 2 workshops are gone today...maybe tomorrow;-)
Very good image of this graceful cat in a natural posture. Seems to be staring you in the eye.
Good point of view, sharpness and colours.
I think this pic is too red/pink...
I prefer the original post.
Good morning Mike,
The details are nice, clear and sharp.
Colours are strong, lighting and exposure are good . The POV is good.
Well composed. I agree with Andrea about the colour being a bit over saturated in this version. I think all the original needed was a touch of shadow/highlight on the eyes to bring out the detail. I'll do a WS later to show you the difference it can make to the image.
Thanks for posting, have a great end to the week.
