Happy New Year
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|Today [14th day of April - with GMT +9], in my native province of West Bengal, New Year shall be celebrated. |
Even though, all the government work is done according to Gregorian calendar, we celebrate this day in a traditional way of wearing new ethnic outfit or to cook some ethnic dishes & inviting friends & relations. Most importantly the small to middle scale businessmen like grocer, stationer & other proprietors open their new Ledger book for debit & credit - known popularly as 'Hal Khata' - meaning status-book.
Bengali calendar is a luni-solar calender & suitable intercalation is made to keep pace with the Gregorian Calendar & the mean sidereal day.
A glide to new year dedicated to all friends & fraternity of TN.

a lovely inflight shot that capture the sharpness and clarity so well. The aerodynamic presentation is very pleasant and lovely.
