[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This little spider was a good subject it didn't want to move. I think my flash was a bit strong(my flash is my stun gun). I did try to lower the flashes settings and played with f-stops and shutter speed but it did darken the image to much I thought. The photo was taken around dusk so there was not alot of light. If anyone has any good flash tips they would like to share I would appreciate it thanks.

Bonjour, très beau close-up. L'image est très sharp et l'exposition parfaite. La composition suivant la règle des tiers est bien équilibrée. Le fond noir dirige toute notre attention sur l'insecte. Bravo pour cette belle image.

Hi Matthew!
I like mood of this photography - green darkness. Composition and details are very good. Is this some kind of crab spider? Nice work!

Hello Matthew,
Very nice shot! The spider is very simmilar to our flower crab spiders. Picture has great POV, very good details and framing too. I think you did well on the exposure and the use of flash is not bad at all.

I think it has come out really well.

One flash tip I picked up a couple of months ago, tissues - you can put them over the flash gun, each layer will act as a diffuser... just add or separate as needed..

hello Matthew,
Very nice and interesting nocturnal shot.
I love the composition, colours, flash use and details

hi matt,
excellent capture! :-)
the flash seems to put enough light on the details
and "darkens" the bg nicely.
composition & pov are great.
well done, thor.

Hi Matthew,

I think that is a great presentation and POV of this spider, hanging on upside down to the tip of that leaf.
Very sharp details and good exposure.
The composition is excellent. TFS, Matt. : )

Hi, Matthew.
Great shot. Wonderful pose. It seems that he wants to say that all this leave belongs to him now. Good DOF, colors and nice background.

Wicked specimen here. This fella looks like he's ready for action. Good composition however you could probably improve the lighting even more once you learn to experiment with your flash.
