I treat photography as an art medium thus I try to be as artistic as possible in all my work. Whether it's a bird, flower, or bee, the key is to capture interesting scenes and make them as aesthetically beautiful as possible.

This photo I like a lot because of the great colours and sharpness. The reflection off the *Hoverfly* seems to have a sparkle thus the title.

The colours really are strong and quite striking. I like that. I like DOF too. The colours would draw too much attention and I think the shallow DOF works great to isolate the insect (btw, it's not a bee, it's a hoverfly).

This is image has fantastic use of DOF. That lens has beautiful bokeh. Exposure is prefect and the composition is very strong.
