|Common Crow (Euploea core) is a butterfly belonging to the crows and tigers subfamily (Danainae). It is venomous i.e. inedible for predators. I have seen this butterfly very often during my stay in Sri Lanka, but the only possibility to take a picture was sitting on this feeding plant.|

Nice photo of this butterfly. Good sharpness and natural colors. A pity that the focus is more at the flower.

Hi Roland, you show only one but i seen a rich compositin with a lot of butterflies from Elvira on Trekearth. The place is the same and the quality of sharpness is great despite the diagonal pose, well done! Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano
