[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Indian palm squirrel (Funambulus palmarum) looks like an american chipmunk but is a different species. The body and the tail are of the same length up to 15cm. So the whole animal can reach 30cm. There is a second species of palm squirrels the dusky striped squirrel which is endemic to Sri Lanka.
