I found this fungi on the lawn of my home in Bangkok. This fungi looks beautiful but the color warn that this is toxic. A help in ID is needed here.

The Kingdom Fungi includes some of the most important organisms, both in terms of their ecological and economic roles. By breaking down dead organic material, they continue the cycle of nutrients through ecosystems. In addition, most vascular plants could not grow without the symbiotic fungi, or mycorrhizae, that inhabit their roots and supply essential nutrients. Other fungi provide numerous drugs (such as penicillin and other antibiotics), foods like mushrooms, truffles and morels, and the bubbles in bread, champagne, and beer.

Fungi also cause a number of plant and animal diseases: in humans, ringworm, athlete's foot, and several more serious diseases are caused by fungi. Because fungi are more chemically and genetically similar to animals than other organisms, this makes fungal diseases very difficult to treat. Plant diseases caused by fungi include rusts, smuts, and leaf, root, and stem rots, and may cause severe damage to crops. However, a number of fungi, in particular the yeasts, are important "model organisms" for studying problems in genetics and molecular biology.

Hi Jitti,
Splendid shot of this cute looking fungi. Lovely colour and very impressive sharpness. Excellent POV to shoot it from top. The BG presents a nice contrast. I like the way it pops up with its brilliant colour among the muddy environment. Very nicely composed. Kudos.
TFS.

Hello Jitti,
Fine capture of a species of fungi entirely new to me and I cannot give you the ID. This shot is sharp and up to your usual high standard in all aspects.
I agree that in principle the colour should indicate that it is poisonous, which could well be the case, but we have a delicious wild mushroom in Sweden that is a bright orangy-yellow! It is called Chantarelle.
TFS and best wishes, Ivan

Hi Jitty.
I think this is so tiny fungi. It is true macro shot. You managed to reproduce it perfectly. I like its nice colours, perfect reflection of texture and impressive ground as BG. Lighting is soft and impressive too. My best regards and TFS.
Alexei.

Isn't that your first ever picture of fungi, JC? I could be mistaken, though.
Very interesting species with a finely textured hat.
Very good capture from a perspective that shows the hat and the stem clearly.
TFS.

Hello JC,
Attractive minimalistic composition!
Fungi really stands out on this background, captured with good colours & details...

Hello Jitti

A very nicely composed shot of this fungi. The bright colour of the mushroom against the drab colour of the earth gives it visual impact.Very good focus with sharp details and lovely textures.TFS

Dear Jitti!
This time I decided to comment rather rare object in your presentations - a very colourful (even if only orange ;>) mushroom.
I like a lot the contrast between species on dark BG. But please tell me, is it natural BG or the effect of using some programm? :)
Bravo also for the DOF and interesting POV.
Have a nice day and best withes from Poland,
R.
