[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Not the orange striped b*$§%*d again, but a relative, the pink clownfish Amphiprion perideraion in the colorful Stichodactylidae gigantea anemone, shot nearby Koh Tao in the Gulf of Siam.

This kind of anemone makes a really beautiful background for a photographer displaying its rich red column and green/blue tentacles. I have seen the most jaded photographers stop and take a shot at them even though these are not specially a rare sight.

Talking about anemones, everybody knows they sting, but some are gentle, others are really nasty... When I was a kid I'd put my hands on anything, (I'm more selective nowadays) : touching gigantic anemones was weird, it was a soft and slipping feel, it also felt like someone had plugged the tentacles to a very low powered electrical plug, that wasn't that bad.
In Vietnam, I recently spoke with someone who trode on the dullish sand anemone which looks like a cauliflower, his foot had swollen the size of a rugby ball, he eventually couldn't walk for a week.

It's something to be noticed that for once, it's not the most beautiful one that will give you the most pain...

Superbe photo tout droit sorti d'un documentaire sur la faune et la flore sous-marine.
Couleurs somptueuses.
Félicitations Luko.

How did you get that lovely little fish to take precisely the good spot in the composition Luko? You did that very well :o)
It's really an attactive image, it looks like thousands of little fluo lights are on...

Stunning colours in this shot. Only minor nit - assuming the fish is supposed to be pink all over - would be that you'd have needed a diffuser to prevent the light from the flash from hitting the fish too hard.

Très belles couleurs pour ce poisson-clown original. J'en connaissais plusieurs sortes mais celui-là, je n'en ai jamais vu. Merci de partager.

Another insight to the luminous landscape below the sea Luko. You are right, it is beautifull. No wonder you love diving. Composition is nice and the light on the anome is lovely. One nit pick though, the belly of the fish seem a bitover exposed, blown out by the flash i guess. Also the anomoe just behind the fish seem a bit pale. Have you tried to correct it in Post process? I guess as contrast mask would help to bring back some details, not all though.

This is good , I like it
Beautiful phota with great colors.
Well done

Wow, great stuff. The anenome has such amazing colours. It's hard to get a sense of scale (no pun intended) how big is the fish?

Beautiful again.

Hi Luku
This is nice, the clown, his environment and the radial “fan” – thanks for posting, and keep’em coming.

The colours down under are so different to that on the surface. The composition is very nice and I have to agree with Bente, the light a tad to sharp. Still great work. Thanx for sharing.

The anemone is amazing the fish looks almost flat presume the reult of the flash.Overall the picture is good so much detail overal thanks for posting.
