I found this flower at the border of vacant land. It stands out among weeds in the area.

Genus: Passiflora
Species: Passiflora foetida
Common names: Stinking Passion Flower, Foetid Passion Flower, also known as the Wild Maracuja.
Native: South America

Stinking passion flower is a climbing vine, densely covered in soft, sometimes sticky hairs. Leaves can have 3–5 pointed lobes, and are between 3–10 cm long. The typical passionfruit-like flowers have cream petals, white, pink or purple centres, and are 3–5 cm across.
Unlike commercial passionfruits, the fruits on this species are dry orange berries, 1–3 cm across, and enclosed in prickly outer leaves (bracts). As its name suggests, the whole plant has an unpleasant smell.
This plant tolerates arid ground, but favours wet areas. It is known to be an invasive species in some areas.

Hi Jitti, this is a nice closeup, and wonderful detail of this exotic flower. The real funny thing is I just purchased 2 of these Passion Vines for my garden. I think they are just beautiful. I don't have to worry about them being invasive here, it's just to cold during the winter to survive. Janice/Canada

I've never seen a flower like this, you've captured it so clearly too, the focus is perfect. I love the light and the purple colors, amazing job on the white parts not overexposing them. I always have trouble with that. Excellent work.
